    Very good

Good location. No problems with the hot water once you let it run for some minutes like the hotel staff advices. This was the only place I stayed where there was no tv in the room (there was one in the communal area). But as an excellent replacement my window faced one of the village streets (a quiet one), so I could watch the comings and goings of the local people. I could also see a bit of neighbours courtyard. So I found entertainment on offer very satisfactory.

Stale bread for breakfast - shame, really, in every other place I stayed in Peru they had managed to provide fresh bread... Checking in was interesting - I arrived, entered, and then just puttered around for some 10 minutes, for the was not a living soul to be found in the lobby. On the other hand, it probably testifies favourably as to the level of security in Ollanta, if you can just leave everything open like that.

I travel to cuzco to see machu picchu, All I can say about this hotel is... We were taken care if like in no other hotel They gave us mate de coca because my daugther seemed ti have soroche We did not ask for anything And they treated us extremely nice And charged us the lowest price Rooms are clean and simple But they owners take care of you like no other hotel Recommend it to everyone that must go to ollantaytambo and wants a cheap nice hotel

    Superb

Very nice hotel. New, clean and nicely designed. We shared a 3-ple room for my wife and 23-year old son which was not huge but could accommodate us and our bags. Almost everybody on Booked.net site mentioned that the hot water is not hot but just worm. The trick is that you have to run it for 15-20 min before you shower and then it becomes just right! This tip was given us by the receptionist who was very nice and helpful (waking up early to give us breakfast at 6 am etc). You may get chipper accommodation in hostels around but none of them look that nice.

Not much. Roosters maybe? Get earplugs!

    Superb

The staff was great, good location, clean room, nice breakfast. Wifi worked very well. An overall good value.

Hot water was an issue for us. You had to keep the water running for 5 minutes before taking a tepid shower. But in reality, it is a minor point.

    Superb

Helpful staff, room modern and clean.

Difficult to find at night. The location indicated on the map on Booked.net is wrong.

    Exceptional

The location is close to train station so we just walked to the place when we get off the train from Machu Picchu. The hotel has a great staff and are super friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast with breads, juice, coffee, tea and eggs! We can see Ollantaytambo ruins right outside of our window.

It's a brand new property. It isn't in the immediate proximity to the train station, but still very close (7 min walk) and only 1 block away from the main square.

    Exceptional

The hotel is new, clean, and comfortable. It's very close to the Plaza and about 10 minutes walk to the train station. Our room had a view to the Inca ruins. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Marina, who speaks very good English, helped us plan a visit to Moray and Salineras. (Ollantaytambo makes a great base from where to explore the Sacred Valley.)

Staff was hard to locate, in the morning, I could not find a soul!

    Fabulous

The staff were very helpful. The building was newish and of a higher standard than expected..

The "24 hours service" did not include answering their phone. We called to confirm our reservation but it went straight to answering machine. The website did not include a map. The street they were on was not named or marked (or even known to exist in Ollantaytambo by Googlemaps). The first room we were given had a leaking toilet that has somehow not been noticed. However, we immediately were given another room.

    Exceptional

The most friendly staff, a new building with modern bathroom and hardwood floors, extremely clean. Great views outside the window, and nice walking distance to center plaza (but all hotels are close).

Hot water took up to 10-15 minutes, we got back around midnight but had problems getting the door opened. The staff was so friendly all around though that we didn't feel neglected.

The rooms are very clean, with confortable beds, and the staff very friendly. The building is modern and built in accordance with anti-seismic norms.

There is a major probem with hot water. One is told to wait 5-10 min before hot water arrives. The main problem is that once it arrives, you have it for about 20 seconds before it turns back to hold (typically when you're already wet in the shower). At least, that was the recurrent scenario for the 3 days I stayed there. Another problem is that, while the hotel is described as having wi-fi in the entire hotel, there's wifi only in the lobby (which is cold and somewhat gloomy, not the sort of lobby where you'd want to spend much time). Breakfast is basically bread, butter, jam and a fried egg (contrary to its description as "buffet breakfast"). Also, the hotel is off the main street, and you need to go through a dark alley, where one evening (not late - around 7 pm) I was attacked by stray dogs.

There was no hot water the two days we were there. Also, they did not pick us up from the train station as promised.
